Max Pescatori Doubles Through Ryan Leng

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Ryan Leng opened the pot and it folded round to Max Pescatori who moved all in for exactly 200,000. Leng gave it some thought before he called.

Leng groaned when he saw Pescatori show his {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, but Pescatori wasn’t exactly delighted when he saw the {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} of Leng.

“I won my first bracelet with that hand,” Pescatori said. “Don’t do it.”

The board ran out a safe {6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Pescatori defeated his memorable hand to double up.

Kim Doubles Through Sotiropoulos

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Victor Kim shoved all in for 84,000 over an early open from Georgios Sotiropoulos. The Greek player quickly called with {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} but could only chuckle after Kim showed down {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. The {2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} flop brought plenty of paint, but not the kind that helped Sotiropoulos, and the {5-Hearts} and {3-Hearts} were blanks as well.

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Grant Denison
Grant Denison

Grant Denison raised first to act to 45,000, and Ryan Leng put in a three-bet to what looked like 180,000 in the small blind. Denison slid in all of his T25,000 chips, Leng said he was all in, and Denison quickly called for what turned out to be 880,000.

Grant Denison: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Ryan Leng: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The dealer spread a flop of {2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, and Leng resigned with a "nice hand." The turn {3-Spades} sealed it for Denison.

Brutal Turn for Denison

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Everyone checked a {6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, bringing a {7-Diamonds} turn. Grant Denison, who had called an under-the-gun open out of the big blind, bet 75,000. Ryan Leng had also called, from the button, and he raised to 180,000 after the opener folded. Denison asked how much he had back and then called.

On the {7-Hearts} river, Dension checked and snap-called 220,000, and Leng turned over {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a straight. Denison had a lower straight with {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

Victor Kim Eliminated in 17th Place ($14,699)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Victor Kim - 17th Place
Victor Kim - 17th Place

An open from Kim and a three-bet from Pratyush Buddiga saw a shove from Kim and a quick call from Buddiga.

Victor Kim tabled {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and nodded in resignation when he saw what he faced — Buddiga's {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, making Kim the next player to fall.

Tsinis Doubles Through Vaillancourt

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

On a flop of {7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, Joseph Kent led out from the big blind for 60,000 and Noah Vaillancourt put in 500,000 — enough to put Kent all in as well as Arkadiy Tsinis, who was yet to act, if either wanted to continue. Tsinis did call it off for 227,000, and Kent folded.

Tsinis: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Vaillancourt: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Vaillancourt had been caught bluffing and had almost no equity, and the {a-Diamonds} turn sealed it by giving Tsinis a boat.
