Timothy Chang Eliminates David Machowsky

There was an open to 5,500 before Timothy Chang three-bet to 13,500 and David Machowsky moved all in for 45,000.

The original raiser folded and Chang called with {a-Spades}{3-Spades} and was against Machowsky’s ace-king.

The flop delivered a spade flush draw which duly got there to bust Machowsky and give Chang a healthy lead over the other five players at his table.

“I had the perfect chip stack,” Chang said smiling as he referred to his call. The rest of the table didn’t seem to be enjoying his good fortune as much.

Table 720 Three-Handed

We followed a few hands on Table 720:

Hand #1: Joe Cook, on the button, folded. Derek Wolters, in the small blind, completed. Michael Cooper, in the big blind, raised to 8,400 and Wolters folded.

Hand #2: Wolters, on the button, raised to 6,000. Cooper folded and Cook three-bet to 12,000 from the big blind. Wolters called.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{10-Spades}, Cook opened to 17,500 and Wolters folded.

Hand #3: Cooper raised to 6,300 from the button, Cook called, and Wolters folded. They both checked through the {A-Clubs}{6-Spades}{Q-Clubs} on the flop. The {A-Spades} came on the turn, Cook opened to 6,300, and Cooper folded.

Hand #4: Cook opened to 6,500 from the button, Wolters three-bet to 18,500, Cooper folded, and Cook called. The flop came {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{A-Spades} and Wolters check-called the 28,500 bet of Cook. They both checked through the {K-Diamonds} on the turn and the {J-Spades} on the river. Cook showed {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for two pairs but Wolters showed {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for trip aces.

Hand #5: Wolters made it 6,000 from the button, Cooper folded, and Cook called. They both checked through the {J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. The turn gave them the {K-Hearts}, Cook opened to 6,000, and Wolters called. Cook checked and then snap-folded the 25,000 bet of Wolters.

Hand #6: Wolters got a walk.
