The player under the gun opened with a raise to 9,000, Michael Trujillo was next to act and called, and the player in the big blind three-bet to 43,500. The original raiser called to put himself at risk with a stack of approximately 30,000 total, and Trujillo came along, as well.
The flop came , and the big blind and Trujillo quickly got the rest of their chips in. All three players tabled their hands.
Under the gun:
Trujillo was way ahead with his set of nines, and both of his opponents needed help from the deck to survive. The turn and river changed nothing, and Trujillo enthusiastically scooped the pot.
"How can I be this drunk and still beat these people?" he asked. "The only thing I can promise is that I'll be at the Rhino in a few hours."
