Dub on the Bub for Yamron

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Bruce Yamron got his stack of 229,000 in preflop from middle position after a raising war with Dario Sammartino, who was on the button.

Yamron: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Sammartino: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Yamron was in great shape to double after {q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} flopped. The {9-Spades} turn sealed it for him, and Sammartino mocked taking a bite out of his cards before shipping over the double.

Level 18 Continues

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

With hand-for-hand play still ongoing, level 18 has come to a conclusion.

However, as per WSOP rules, the tournament will continue for another hour at this level.

Once that hour expires, or the bubble bursts, the next level of 6,000/12,000 will begin.

Engel Wins Limped Pot

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Ari Engel limped in under the gun, and Mark Herm limped the button as Joshua Mammon checked from the big blind.

All three players checked the {3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop as the {8-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Mammon checked, Engel bet 22,000 and both Herm and Mammon quickly folded.

Radanov Doubles on the Bubble

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

From the cutoff, Scott Clements opened to 25,000 only to have Damjan Radanov pot from the button to 90,000. Clements called, and on the {9-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} flop, Radanov committed his remaining 32,000 with Clements calling.

Clements: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Radanov: {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

The turn and river of the {K-Diamonds} and {J-Clubs} would ensure Radanov a double with a flush as Clements was left short with 60,000 in chips.

Hand-for-Hand Begins

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Following the elimination of Noah Bronstein, the tournament is now officially on the bubble.

With that, the tournament supervisor has announced that hand-for-hand play will begin and continue until one more player is eliminated.

Herm Binks to Eliminate Hughes

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Ryan Hughes raised to 22,000 in the cutoff, and Mark Herm made it 81,000 on the button.

"Probably not folding," Hughes said with a sigh as he counted out his stack. He stood up and slid all of it in — about 190,000. Herm called.

Hughes: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}
Herm: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The flop was {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and the turn the {2-Clubs}, giving Herm a wheel and causing Hughes to react with disgust. The river was the {2-Hearts}, and Herm scored the knockout with his straight.
