Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Peter Coulombe Leads into Day 3
Peter Coulombe Leads into Day 3

The remaining 28 players of Event #58: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em bagged their chips to return on Sunday to play down to a winner, who will receive $395,918 along with a WSOP gold bracelet.

The day started with 269 players returning just four spots from the payouts, which began at 265th. Zhong Wang was the unfortunate bubble, whose elimination made the remaining 265 players very happy and guaranteeing them at least $2,249 apiece.

Peter Coulombe ended Day 2 as the chip leader with 1,443,000. Two bracelet winners, Taylor Paur (927,000) and Asi Moshe (886,000), also finished the day inside the top three. Lee Watkinson (470,000) and John Phan (520,000) are also WSOP bracelet winners who'll return for Day 3 looking to add to their WSOP gold collection. Martin Kabrhel began the day as the chip leader and ended it 13th in chips with 463,000. Goran "mandza17" Mandic ended the day with 562,000.

Many notables had started the day but didn't finish, including Phil Laak, Kenny Hallaert, and Chance Kornuth.

Day 3 begins at 12 p.m. on Sunday, and PokerNews.com will have all of the live updates and hand-for-hand play from the final table.

Martin Kabrhel Busts Chance Kornuth

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Martin "Can I see your stack?" Kabrhel
Martin "Can I see your stack?" Kabrhel

In the end, it came down to a flip.

Chance Kornuth shoved with pocket fours. Martin Kabrhel called with ace-queen and hit to seal Kornuth’s elimination after a roller-coaster few hands for him.

Kabrhel doesn’t really need chirping chips, but he now has a ton of chips and is chirping away in search of a new friend/target.

John Espositio is looking over from another table and throwing a few barbs his way, but their battle has yet to be properly started.

All Down To Chance

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

Chance Kornuth moved all in, and Ricardo Hernandez re-shoved. From the big blind, Rocco Palumbo moved all in, too, covering them both.

Chance Kornuth: {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Ricardo Hernandez: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Rocco Palumbo: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Kornuth binked the river to drag a huge pot.

Martin Kabrhel had something to say from across the table: “Well played, sir. I love the way you played that. Especially on the river.”

Kornuth laughed it off and stacked the chips.

Martin Kabrhel Busts Kenny Hallaert

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

John Esposito may have promised to play some big pots against Martin Kabrhel but it was Kenny Hallaert who took him on first.

Just as the tournament was going on break, Hallaert opened and Kabrhel called. The other players folded and most left the room to take their break.

The flop was {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Hallaert bet 6,500 and Kabrhel raised small to 13,500.

Hallaert quickly announced all in and, just as quickly, Kabrhel called.

Hallaert: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Kabrhel: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river the {q-Spades}.

Even a club could not have saved Hallerrt against the flopped full house of Kabrhel.

Hallaert waited to be escorted to the payout desk as Kabrhel reached over to take his stack into his own.

Weiqi Liu Scoops Five-Way Preflop All-In

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Weiqi Liu
Weiqi Liu

Weiqi Liu had a decision to make. Four other players were all in already and he was making up his mind whether to join the party. He took a bit too long and the clock was called but eventually he called to make it a five-way all-in.

Daniel Stanley: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Kenneth Marker: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Alfie Adam: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Tony Hoang: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Weiqi Liu: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Everyone had their own sweat to cheer for. Hoang was convinced diamonds would come to his rescue while Adam had his bag slung over his shoulder but was still convinced he would get quad fours.

Liu had them all covered and having decided to call and seen the cards he was happy with his “king outs.”

When the pot was all sorted, the dealer put out the cards {8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

The river delivered that "king out" and Liu jumped out of his chair in delighted surprise before settling down. He had knocked out four players in one fell swoop and the entire pot was pushed his way.

Cohen Knocks Out Massey and Zhang

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Aaron Massey (photo from an earlier event)
Aaron Massey (photo from an earlier event)

From middle position, Aaron Massey shoved all in for 9,100. Action folded to Oren Cohen on the button who thought about it for a bit before placing a tower of chips worth 20,000 in the middle. We're unsure if he announced all in or just isolated to 20,000 as action was fast after that. The small blind, Yang Zhang, snap-called all in for just a couple thousand, and the big blind folded instantly.

Zhang: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Massey: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Cohen: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{9-Spades} and both Zhang and Massey hit the rail. Cohen moved up to well over 100,000.
