Danny Wong Eliminated in 24th Place ($26,070)

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Danny Wong
Danny Wong

Vlad Darie raised to 175,000 from the cutoff, earning a flat-call from small blind Adrian Moreno. Danny Wong squeeze-shoved from the big blind, forcing a fold from Darie. Moreno didn't hesitate much before calling.

Danny Wong: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Adrian Moreno: {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

While it was originally a fair confrontation, the {4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} flop put Moreno's hand way ahead. "How about that flop!" someone in Moreno's rail shouted.

Wong could only hope for a miracle runner-runner but his chances were already halted on the {7-Hearts} turn. The river was meaningless as Wong had already known he was heading for his payout.

Price Takes from Konstas

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Ioannis Angelou Konstas raised to 175,000 and Toby Price called in the cutoff. On the {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop, Konstas checked and called a bet of 225,000 before the duo checked the {A-Spades} on the turn.

Konstas bet the {9-Hearts} river for 825,000 and Price went into the think tank before calling. Konstas turned over {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a pair of tens and Price had that beat with {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}.

Benjamin Ector Eliminated in 23rd Place ($26,070)

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Benjamin Ector
Benjamin Ector

Benjamin Ector tried to spin his wheels, facing off against Harry Lodge preflop. Ector had {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and was slightly behind Lodge's {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

The {3-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} flop was, however, a teaser for Ector who spiked some additional outs with his flush draw.

Unfortunately for him, a third diamond card never arrived as the remaining board ran out {4-Clubs} and {5-Spades}, eliminating Ector from contention.

Diaz Dropping

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

On his previous table, Guillaume Diaz lost a big pot against Alexandru Papazian and found himself at the same table after the redraw. He then got involved into a battle of the blinds after completing from the small blind and watching Ray Qartomy check from the big. The flop came {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Diaz bet 80,000, which Qartomy called.

On the {K-Diamonds} turn, Diaz made it 130,000 to go and was called once more before checking the {5-Spades} river. Qartomy bet 400,000 and that won the pot uncontested.

Ben Yu Finds a Double

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Ben You moved all in from an early position, evoking a series of folds. However, big blind Toby Price was interested, asking for Yu's chip count. It was 840,000 and Price called off.

Yu: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Price: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}

Price was dominated by Yu's big slick, and the {8-Spades}{Q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} held him out front.

Papazian at the Top of the Counts

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Just a few minutes ago, Bernard Muhire three-bet against Alexandru Papazian and the latter folded. Soon after, Papazian raised to 180,000 and Muhire called in the big blind. Muhire check-called a bet on the {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} flop before checking again the {7-Diamonds} turn. Papazian made it 410,000 to go and that won the pot.

Kramer and Lodge Double

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #1:

[Removed:172] raised from the button and Harry Lodge moved all in from the big blind with the superior stack, which Kramer called for his last 1,565,000.

Kramer: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Lodge: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

The board came {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Kramer doubled with a pair of queens.

Hand #2:

In the next hand, Lodge three-bet all in from the small blind and Ian O'Hara looked him up from early position.

Lodge: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
O'Hara: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

The board of {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} provided no help for O'Hara and Lodge doubled up.

Berger's Kings Hold Up

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Paul Berger raised to 200,000 and Eric Baldwin moved all in from the small blind. Ben Yu gave it brief consideration in the big blind and folded, while Berger quickly called all in.

Berger: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Baldwin: {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Berger was relieved. Another player at the table mentioned that a fourth queen would have given Baldwin the better hand and Berger replied, "That would have been the sickest." Berger's double was for 1,370,000, which put a dent into Baldwin's big stack.

Lodge Doubles Through Kramer

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Cutoff Adrian Moreno opened to 215,000. His neighbor [Removed:172] three-bet to 640,000 but Harry Lodge in the big blind wasn't scared.

"How much is that?" Lodge asked the dealer, then paused for a few moments before announcing he was all in. Moreno folded and now it was Kramer who asked for the count. Lodge's shove was for 1,160,000 total, and Kramer called.

Lodge: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Kramer: {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The {2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} board prevented Lodge from any accident, leaving his ace-high ahead. Lodge claimed the pot, scoring more than a double.
