Turner Doubles Through Sklenicka

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Daniel Turner moved all in from the small blind for his final 1.2 million. Michael Sklenicka looked at his hole cards, then quickly called.

Turner: {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Sklenicka: {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}

While the table waited for the camera crews to come over, players started taking sides on which hand would win. "The ten-eight has to win. It's just too pretty, right?" Scott Stewart joked.

Sure enough, the dealer put out a flop of {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}, giving Turner the flopped straight, and leaving Sklenicka drawing to runner-runner for a chop. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn sealed the double for Turner, who is up to 2.5 million after that fortunate flop.
