Sinclair Takes Multi-Way Pot

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Jack Sinclair raised to 180,000 from early position and he got calls from Artan Dedusha in the hijack, Joshua Horton in the cutoff, and Michael Krasienko in the big blind. The four players saw a flop of {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Krasienko checked to Sinclair, who bet out 300,000. Dedusha and Horton tagged along to see the {Q-Spades} hit the turn. The three players checked around, and the {K-Hearts} came on the river.

Sinclair went for a bet of 650,000, and neither Dedusha or Horton could call to get to showdown, giving the pot to Sinclair.

Hyon Kim elimination

Hyon Kim raised to 205,000 from early position, Gregory Goldberg three-bet to 550,000 from the big blind, and Kim called after about three minutes.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Goldberg bet 450,000. Kim called, the {5-Diamonds} turn fell, and Goldberg shoved for effectively 970,000. Kim tanked for another four minutes before he called all in with {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} for kings and fives. Goldberg showed {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} for aces and fives.

The river was the {5-Spades}, no help to Kim, ending his Main Event in 76th place.

Turner Doubles Through Mackoff

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Daniel Turner opened to 175,000 in middle position and Jonas Mackoff defended his big blind. Mackoff checked the {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop and Turner bet 200,000. Mackoff shoved all in and got snap-called.

Turner: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
Mackoff: {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Both had flopped two pair, but Turner's was better. The {8-Hearts} turn gave Mackoff outs to a flush but the river was a {2-Spades}.

"I thought even with a snap-call I'd be good there," Mackoff said with a laugh after the hand.

November Niners Tangle

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Kenny Hallaert was in early position and raised to 175,000. Michael Ruane was in the big blind and defended.

The flop was {j-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and both players checked to the turn which was the {a-Diamonds}.

Ruane led out for 200,000 and Hallaert called.

The river was the {7-Clubs} and Ruane thought for a minute before firing out a second bullet of 400,000. Hallaert tanked for a couple of minutes and let his hand go, sending the first clash of last year's final tablists over to Ruane.

"How Much You Wanna Pay Me?"

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Jae Hwang opened from early position with a raise to 225,000. Action folded to Joshua Marvin who reraised, making it 550,000 to play. From the small blind, Christian Pham cold four-bet all in with a stack of about 3,650,000. Hwang released quickly and Marvin dropped into the tank. He thought for nearly three minutes before he finally folded his hand.

"I'm making a big fold," Marvin said.

"Big fold?" Pham asked. "How much you wanna pay me?"

"You've already shown like six hands," Marvin said.

"One time?" Pham asked.

"Whatever you're gonna do, do it fast because you're wasting my time," Brandon Meyers said.

Pham then turned up his {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

"Good hand, man," Marvin said. Pham raked in the pot and recovered a bit from some of his earlier setbacks.

Senat Doubles Through Dwek

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Paul Senat
Paul Senat

Paul Senat moved all in for 810,000 from under the gun and Jonathan Dwek asked for a count from one seat over, then called. All opponents got out of the way and the cards were turned over.

Senat: {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Dwek: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

Senat was the player at risk, and picked up a gutshot and flush draw on the {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} flop. While the {3-Hearts} turn was of no help, Senat got there in the {K-Spades} river to improve to a flush. "Whew, I needed that," Senat said while sitting back down.

Dwek, sporting his superman outfit again, replied, "Well, I needed it too," and counted his remaining stack.

Ott Picks Off Moffatt

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Dan Ott opened for 175,000 in the cutoff and Colin Moffatt called on the button. When {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flopped, Ott checked and called 225,000. He check-called 475,000 more on the {5-Spades} turn, and a {k-Diamonds} completed the board. Ott checked a final time and thought for awhile before calling the final barrel, 875,000.

Moffatt turned over {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}, but Ott had {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

"Wow," someone else said. "Sicko."
