WSOP International Circuit Sydney Main Event Day 1B Set to Get Underway

Ricky Kroesen After Bagging the Second Most Chips on Day 1A

After 170 entrants took part in Day 1A of the Main Event yesterday, today is the second chance for players to grab their own personal slice of the $2.1 million guarantee on offer. Players who entered yesterday and didn’t bag chips are still able to enter today, but if they are forced to re-enter again, have two more chances next Thursday and Friday on the remaining two opening flights.

Yesterday it was Michael Confos who managed to soar to the top of the chip counts with 366,000, edging out Ricky Kroesen (339,500) and Luke Martinelli (334,000) who rounded out the top three spots. 31 players managed to bag with notables including; Jordan Westmorland, Craig Blight, Julius Colman, Jonathan Karamalikis, Brendon Rubie and Jarred Graham.

Today players will have fourteen 45-minute levels to try and match Confos’ stack ahead of Day 2, with 10-minute breaks after every three levels, and a 30-minute dinner break coming at the conclusion of level nine.
