Hiscox Triples Up

Level 6 : 300/600, 50 ante

A crowd had gathered around Table 10 after three players had managed to commit all their chips into the middle.

The board was showing {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and there was already around 34,000 in the pot with a player all in.

Andy Hiscox had an additional 33,425 in front of him and was at risk against Kenn Langcake who had him covered.

Andy Hiscox: {k-Spades}{6-Spades}
Kenn Langcake: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The river produced the {a-Spades} resulting in Hiscox running around in excitement after spiking the right river card to give him a flush and the winning hand.

Langcake was shortened after his flopped set couldn't hold and the other all-in player was sent packing even after making a set of aces on the river.

Rubie Runs Into a Truck

Level 6 : 300/600, 50 ante
Brendon Rubie
Brendon Rubie

A player opened in early position to 1,200 and the player to her left called. Action folded to the big blind where Brendon Rubie called as well.

On the {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, action checked to the original raiser who put out a bet of 1,000. The next player folded. Rubie thought it over for a bit, then raised, making it 5,000. His opponent went all in for 525 more and Rubie quickly called.

Brendon Rubie: {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

Rubie had less outs than he originally thought as his opponent was holding two of them herself. He bricked out as the turn was the {3-Diamonds} and the river was the {10-Clubs} so with that, Rubie was forced to send over roughly a quarter of his stack to his opponent.

O'Grady Lucky to Chop

Level 6 : 300/600, 50 ante

A player opened in early position to 1,300 and there was a three-bet to 4,200. Action folded around to the button where Michael O'Grady called. Action folded around so it was heads up to the flop.

The flop was {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and the three-bettor put out a bet of 2,500. O'Grady raised, making it 5,000 and the three-bettor called.

On the {J-Hearts} turn both players checked. The three bettor checked again on the {J-Diamonds} river and O'Grady looked like he might check too, but instead he put out a bet of 5,000. The three bettor called and showed his {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for two pair. O'Grady showed his {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for two pair as well and the two chopped the pot.

"You're both lucky to chop there," Najeem Ajez said after the hand.

"Mine was suited!" O'Grady exclaimed.

All Over That Like a Fat Kid on a Cupcake

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

With a board of {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{A-Hearts} on the turn, Michael O'Grady led out with a bet of 6,800. His opponent, Awerbuch called creating a pot of nearly 40,000.

"You're all over that ace like a fat kid on a cupcake," O'Grady said laughing.

The river was the {4-Spades} and O'Grady led again, putting out 12,000.

"Fuck me," Awerbuck said.

"I think I'm winning!" O'Grady said immediately after. "He's folding boys! You don't say 'fuck me' then call."

Awerbuch eventually did settle on a fold and O'Grady asked him if he wanted to see the hand.

"I've got the nuts," O'Grady said turning up {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for a flopped set. And with that he took down the pot to chip up over 130,000. Awerbuch however was left with around 60,000.

A Small One for Rubie

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

The player in middle position raised to 1,800 and was called by Brendon Rubie in the big blind.

Both players checked the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop before the {9-Spades} dropped on the turn.

Rubie bet out 2,200 and was called straight away.

The {10-Clubs} completed the board and both players opted to check. Rubie then tabled his {a-Spades}{7-Spades} for a pair and took down the pot after his opponent mucked his hand.
