Demlakian Over 100K after Double Knockout

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Vincent Huang found himself all-in preflop and up against two other opponents.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Zaven Demlakian placed out a bet which covered his other opponent's final 8,000.

His opponent went into the tank for several minutes as he tried to persuade himself to call.

Eventually, he did and was happy with his decision after all the cards were tabled.

Demlakian: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Huang: {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Opponent: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out the {9-Diamonds} then {a-Diamonds} awarding the pot to Demlakian after he rivered the highest pair to scoop the lot.

Tan Pressures Josue

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

On a flop of {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{j-Clubs} Al Josue checked from the big blind followed by Charlie Hawes in middle position. Jerome Tan bet 3,000 from the button. Both opponents called.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and again Tan fired out 5,000 after a pair of checks. Only Josue called as Hawes got out of the way.

The {3-Hearts} completed the board and Josue checked. Tan thought about his decision for a moment.

"You missed your straight, ha? said Josue, which prompted Tan to toss out 20,000.

Josue deliberated for over a minute before eventually mucking his hand.
