Day: 3
Bee in the Bonnet
"Floor!" he exclaimed. "Seat One, Table One!" Being one of two tables in the enclosed VIP-esque area, his cries fell on stony ground.
"This is unreal," he continued. "We're gonna blow five minutes here, you watch. This is the second time they've screwed up, we need to hire more floor men."
After taking his pleas onto the casino floor, Negreanu eventually returned with another player in hot pursuit. "Ok, we're back"... and play continued, although it was four and a half minutes wasted, rather than five.
Negreanu has 130,000, and a bee in his bonnet
Curiousness
Over to Eric Liu in the big blind, who now made it 20,000 to go. Demjan passed quickly, but Lichtenberger -- whose Suited Connections patch sounds as though it's advertising a really geeky dating site -- thought about it for a moment before announcing all in to cover Liu. Liu dwelled up long enough for us to witness whole hands take place on other tables -- and then folded.
Thew Ain't Wong
They saw an flop and Wong checked. Thew bet, Wong called, and they saw a turn. Wong checked again, but this time when Thew bet, Wong raised to put him all in. Thew made the call, and they were on their backs.
Thew: for bottom set
Wong: for a pair of eights and a flush draw
River: , not a heart
Thewy moved on up to 175,000. Wong meanwhile was left with pocket change. What's worse, Wong got his last 15,000 in from the small blind next hand and the big blind folded -- and Wong showed him . Ouch.

Brunson Doubles Up, Stack Remains Stable for a Few Minutes
Down to almost his starting stack a little earlier, he was somehow back up to 100,000 by the time he sat down at the main feature table. Shortly after, the board was claiming that Brunson was up to 250,000, but we suspect that was a mistake.
So he was perched on 50,000 or so when he became involved from the big blind with Hieu La on the button, and they had reached the turn when the last of Brunson's chips went in.

Brunson is officially, verifiably now sitting on 100,000. La was crippled down to 4,900, but has since upped his stack to a still shaky 22,000.
Getting Harder
Akenhead =
Harder =
As the dealer peeled off the turn, Kara Scott raced over in an effort to interrupt the process so the camera crew could be summoned to the table, but it was too late, as an eyebrow-raising had already hit the felt.
Nevertheless, the players waited around for the technical team to arrive, the flow of the random number generator (if one can exist in live play - think cat in a box and quantum theory) disrupted by the razzmatazz of TV and the way of the modern game.
"Good luck," wished Harder as nerves jangled. "It looks like it went in on the turn," he added with a content smile.
Finally, the camera crew arrived, and the tension was broken with the deal of the river card: ! Akenhead tapped the table, and Harder raked in the near 100,000 pot.
