Bonyadi Picks One Up

After calling a bet of 300 from his opponent on the {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} board, the river landed with the {6-Clubs} and Farzad Bonyadi was faced with another bet of 300. This time he didn't call, though. Bonyadi put in a raise to 1,000. After a minute of thought, his opponent called.

Bonyadi tabled the {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for two pair. His opponent held the {A-Clubs}{2-Spades} and lost the pot.

Hairabedian's Shove Wins

Roger Hairabedian
Roger Hairabedian

"Floor! Clock!" was the call from Roger Hairabedian's table and that got our attention. When we moved over to check out what was happening, we saw that there was a board of {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} in the middle of the table and someone's chips pushed across the betting line for an all-in move. Those chips belonged to Hairabedian and he sat motionless while his opponent was in the tank.

According to the dealer, the player had thought for about three minutes before the clock was finally called on him. The floor issued the start of the clock and then about 30 seconds later, the player folded to Hairabedian's shove of about 2,000. Hairabedian collected the chips and went on to the next hand.

More Devilfish Chatter

The under-the-gun player raised and Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott called from middle position before Ricardo Pereira three-bet to 575 from the cutoff. Action folded back to the original raiser and he folded. Ulliott made the call.

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Ulliott checked. Pereira fired 825 and Ulliott snap-called.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {8-Clubs} fall on the river. Ulliott bet 1,200 and said, "If you don't like money, call that."

Pereira gave it some thought, but thought better and folded his hand.
