Event #2: €1,090 No-Limit Hold'em
Day 1b Started
Welcome to Day 1b of Event #2: €1,090 No-Limit Hold'em here at the 2011 World Series of Poker Europe. Yesterday's Day 1a flight saw 381 runners take to the felt. Today is expected to be much of the same, if not more. If the overall number surpasses 608, this will be the largest-ever WSOP Europe event. That goal is very near and it's expected to be reached.
After the nine levels played yesterday, Australian Andrew Hinrichsen finished on top of 63, 900 in chips. There were 54 players remaining at the end of the day. That group will join up with the remaining players from this flight for Day 2 on Monday at noon.
With plenty of big names making Day 2 of Event #1: €2,680 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em yesterday, but not advancing to Day 3, today's field should be packed with well-known and recognizable players.
Play kicks off at noon and it's going to be another great day of poker. Be sure to stay tuned right here to PokerNews for all the live coverage.

We're going to take a look at Majestic 2 and see who's over there.

We're back from checking the other room and we've spotted the names below. Ryan D-Angelo, Maria Ho and Todd Terry are all seated at the same table and then Xuan Liu, Bolivar Palacios and Leo Boxell are at the same table.
What's interesting at that second table mentioned is that Boxell was just in Darwin, Australia playing the ANZPT event held there just a couple days ago. That's quite the trek to Cannes for these events, but Boxell has made it, albeit with a tough table draw to start.
