Incredible Start For Tedeschi

Over the course of two hands Paul Tedeschi just increased his stack by nearly 260%, what a way to start Day 3 of the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event!

First he busted Jonathan Little. The flop read {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} when Little got his chips into the middle after unknown action. He showed {J-Spades}{10-Spades} and was trailing Tedeschi's {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The turn brought the {2-Spades} and the river the {9-Spades} ending Little's tournament.

Just a few hands later the following happened. Anara Alekberovas raised under the gun to 4,800 and Phil Hellmuth, who was directly to his left, called. Tedeschi called from the small blind, as die Ping San Chan from the big.

The flop brought out {9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and Tedeschi checked. Chan had around 40,000 chips left and he decided to move all in. Both Alekberovas and Hellmuth folded after which Tedeschi called.

Showdown:
Paul Tedeschi: {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Ping San Chan: {K-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}, {5-Spades} and Chan was knocked out. Tedeschi took a huge leap right at the start of the day, and he's now sitting very comfortable with around 110 big blinds.
