Hannes Neurauter Eliminated in 5th Place (€51,854)

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Hannes Neurauter
Hannes Neurauter

Hannes Neurauter shoved from the button for 2,300,000. Tamir Segal asked for a count in the small blind and called. Aksel Ayguen looked at his cards in the big blind and considered his options. After a few seconds, Ayguen made the call.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Segal check-folded to Ayguen's shove.

Hannes Neurauter: {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Aksel Ayguen: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

Ayguen was ahead with the pocket nines and Neurauter needed hearts or a queen.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} to give Neurauter a flush draw but the {6-Diamonds} on the river wasn't what he needed and Neurauter was sent to the cashier to pick up €51,854 for finishing in 5th place (which also includes an earlier cash in the COLOSSUS).
