Lalwani Jams Blind; Schmauch Busts

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante
Rakesh Lalwani
Rakesh Lalwani

Down to 6,800, Corentin Schmauch moved all in first to act and Dutch Boyd called on the dead button, the single big blind folded.

Corentin Schmauch: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Dutch Boyd: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and the kicker played to eliminate Schmauch.

Two tables over, Rakesh Lalwani moved all in blind for what appeared to be 8,000 and was called two ways, by Bjoern Bouwmans and Mohame Lafchouch. The flop brought {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Michael Eiler joked to Lalwani "this might be a good flop for you."

Bouwmans moved all in and Lafchouch called instantly.

"You can turn them over now," Lalwani said to the dealer and his {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for two pair were exposed. Bouwmans had {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Lafchouch tabled his {K-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for the over pair. The {K-Spades} turn instantly locked up the double knockout, making the {8-Spades} river a formality.

Kaneoya Busts Two

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Renato Kaneoya previously admitted that he hasn't been running good in his attempts thus far and the Brazilian has entered Day 1F some time ago. Just now he was part of a three-way all in and had the best of it when all was done and dusted.

On the {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop, Wolfgang Bennewitz ended up all in and at risk with Andreas Loebel and Kaneoya both calling. Loebel jammed the {5-Diamonds} turn for the remainder of his short stack and Kaneoya called.

Wolfgang Bennewitz: {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Andreas Loebel:{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Renato Kaneoya: {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Loebel had flopped the full house but both opponents were drawing live. The {3-Spades} appeared on the river and Kaneoya improved to the superior full house to send both opponents to the rail.

The Rich Get Richer

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

The completed board showed {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{9-Spades} and the cutoff checked over to Zoltan Gal on the button, who bet 10,000. A quick call followed and Gal flashed {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the flopped flush, his opponent mucked {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for the flopped straight.

Thanks to picking up that decent pot, Gal moved up to three times the starting stack.

Towards the end of level five, there are already more than 340 entries and some 260 players remain.

Petleshkov Triples Up; Arkun Doubles

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

With the turn showing {J-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}, Huseyin Arkun checked out of the small blind and faced a bet of 3,000. Arkun check-raised to 19,000 and left himself just 500 behind. His opponent reluctantly called and Arkun moved all in blind before the {6-Spades} fell on the river.

The call followed and Arkun turned over {J-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for jacks and fours, his opponent had {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}.

Viliyan Petleshkov also escaped from elimination. The cutoff raised to 1,000 and Petleshkov jammed for 6,900 on the button, the big blind and cutoff called. A flop of {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} was checked and the shove of the big blind on the {5-Spades} turn isolated successfully. Petleshkov turned over {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for top pair and faced {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, the Bulgarian held up and even made top two pair with the {K-Clubs} river.

Right after the hand, the table broke.

Re-Entry for Della Longa

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Davide Della Longa started nicely into Day 1F but things have gone downhill since the Italian moved tables. Della Longa jammed the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{J-Clubs} turn with {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for top pair and was called by an opponent with {K-Spades}{2-Spades} for second pair and the nut flush draw. The {2-Clubs} fell on the river and a disgusted Della Longa splashed his remaining chips all over the table before heading to the rail and purchasing a re-entry.
