Loeser Wants to Tangle with Kabrhel

Level 10 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Manig Loeser
Manig Loeser

Martin Kabrhel has been opening every hand and is either taking down the pot preflop or getting some resistance from his opponents. Jun Wah Yap has three-bet shoved multiple times directly on his left while Ivan Leow has been moving in on Kabrhel's blinds.

Manig Loeser had other plans as he wanted to see a flop when Kabrhel raised to 265,000. The flop fell {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Loeser check-called a bet of 260,000 from Kabrhel out of the big blind. The turn brought the {7-Clubs} and Loeser checked again. Kabrhel eventually stuck in a bet of 1,175,000 and Loeser folded.

The Same Ol' Song and Dance

Level 10 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Manig Loeser raised to 250,000 in early position and Martin Kabrhel went into the tank again. The clock was called and Kabrhel eventually raised to 15,000,000. The action came back to Loeser who snapped him off and the cards were tabled.

Manig Loeser: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Martin Kabrhel: {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The flop came {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Loeser was in a great position. The {j-Diamonds} on the turn left Kabrhel drawing dead and Loeser let him know about it. "Oh wait, you can't win!" Some more banter was exchanged between the two players but in the end it was Loeser stacking chips after the hand.

Nitsche Takes Out Yap

Level 11 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Jun Wah Yap
Jun Wah Yap

Jun Wah Yap was one of the shorter stacks at the table and got all of his chips into the middle on the button. Unfortunately for Yap, Dominik Nitsche woke up with a monster in the small blind.

Dominik Nitsche: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Jun Wah Yap: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts} and with neither player holding a heart in their hand, Nitsche took down the pot and eliminated Yap.

Tony G Spikes a King

Level 11 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Tony G ripped all in for his last 1,050,000 in the hijack and was called by Michael Soyza in the cutoff. Tony G would need some help as he tabled {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and was up against the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} of Soyza.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} to give Tony G the lead with a pair of kings. The {a-Hearts} on the turn gave Soyza a straight draw but the {a-Clubs} on the river secured the double up for Tony G.

Michael Soyza pushed all in for 1,080,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Tony G in the big blind. Tony G instantly called after looking down at his cards and Soyza was in trouble.

Michael Soyza: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Tony G: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The flop came {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} to give Soyza two pair and the lead. The turn was the {8-Hearts} as Tony G picked up a flush draw. The river was the {10-Clubs} and Soyza improved to a full house to score a double up and stay alive.

Tony G Doubles Through Nitsche

Level 12 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

The action folded to Dominik Nitsche in the small blind who shoved all in. Tony G was in the big blind and instantly called off his stack of 2,365,000.

Tony G: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Dominik Nitsche: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The flop came {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and the rail "oohhed" when Nitsche picked up a straight draw to go with his two live cards. The turn was the {q-Diamonds} which changed nothing and the river was the {9-Spades}. Tony G scored himself a double up and made sure everyone in the room heard about it.

"Yesss! We killed the German machines!"
