Palatzky Loses One to Ribeiro

The pot was limped and the flop showed {4-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} when Marc Palatzky bet 100,000 with {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} and was called by Tomas Ribeiro with {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

The turn brought no betting action with the {5-Hearts} and the river fell the {k-Spades}. Palatzky check-called after some thinking a bet worth 125,000 from Ribeiro but only to see a better two pair in Ribeiro's hand and lost the pot.

Eljach Delivers Big Hit to Palatzky

As soon as three-handed play started, Omar Eljach managed to win a big pot over Marc Palatzky and knock him down in the counts.

Palatzky opened the action with a raise to 180,000 and Eljach defended from the big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Spades} and Eljach check-called a bet for 80,000.

The {4-Hearts} hit the turn and Eljach check-called again, this time for 200,000.

The {3-Clubs} completed the board on the river and brought a third check for Eljach and a third bet from Palatzky, for 800,000.

Eljach made a great call with his straight, while Palatzky tried to steal the pot with the {a-Spades} blocker.

Ribeiro Takes More from Palatzky

In the first hand, Marc Palatzky raised on the button with {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} to 160,000 and faced a three-bet from Tomas Ribeiro in the small blind worth 540,000, holding {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}. Palatzky ended up tossing his cards into the muck.

A few moments later, Palatzky completed from the small blind, holding {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and called a raise from Ribeiro for 240,000, who held {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Another Million Lost for Palatzky

Ribeiro called and they saw the flop coming {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}. Palatzky bet 325,000 but folded quickly when Ribeiro shoved all in.

This pot cost another million chips to Palatzky who is down to just 12 big blinds, while Ribeiro has almost seventy percent of the total chips in play.
