Dinu Eliminated by Kilic

Level 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Serok Kilic raised to 10,000 and Andreas Dyll called from one seat over. Ionut Dinu then jammed for 35,000 and Kilic repotted to force out short stack Dyll.

Ionut Dinu: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Serok Kilic: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} board gave Kilic trips deuces as Dinu fell in 26th place.

Jacobs Eliminated in Three-Way All-In

Level 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Bianca Jacobs
Bianca Jacobs

Bianca Jacob was all-in for the last 58,000 preflop and received two callers in Krzysztof Magott and Orhan Sen. The {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop brought the bet worth 15,000 by Sen and he then called all-in for the 20,000 he had behind when Magott raised.

Bianca Jacob: {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Orhan Sen: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Krzysztof Magott: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

"Oh wow, I am behind," Magott said and another player immediately joked "that's a first," which brought a smile to Jacob's face. The {2-Hearts} turn propelled Magott into the lead but Sen improved to a flush thanks to the {k-Hearts} river.

"Finally," Jacobs said as she was eliminated in 25th place. The remaining 24 players will now redraw to three tables and there are just shy of 19 minutes left in level 17.

Peter Chips Up Against Verbakel

Level 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Bjorn Verbakel check-called the {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop for 30,000 when facing Jaroslav Peter in the cutoff. The {k-Spades} turn and {9-Diamonds} river were checked and Verbakel reluctantly revealed the {q-Clubs}{j-Spades} first, to which Peter exposed his {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}.

Verbakel then mucked his last two cards and Peter dragged n the pot.

Down to 21 Players

Level 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Oleksandr Fediv was eliminated in 23rd place and a few minutes later, Bjorn Verbakel had all but the last 18,000 in the middle out of the big blind in three-way action. He faced Erkan Dogan on the button and Orhan Sen in the small blind.

Sen checked the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop, Verbakel pushed and Dogan flat-called. Sen then check-raised to 100,000 and Dogan reluctantly folded.

Bjorn Verbakel: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Orhan Sen: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

The {9-Hearts} turn and {7-Clubs} river brought no miracle for Verbakel as he finished in 22nd place. Dogan banged on the table as he would have turned a winning flush.

Kilic Cannot Beat Sevo

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Vlado Sevo bet the {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} turn for 45,000 and was called by Serok Kilic on the button. Both checked the {6-Diamonds} river and Sevo tabled the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Kilic double-checked the board, sighed and mucked his cards while several players at the table shook their head.

"Fourty-five on the turn, eh? No fear," Alfredo Vega Meister joked to his table neighbour Sevo.

Bogusz Becomes Contender for the Chip Lead

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

"You missed the action, it was a lot of raises," Ricardo Busch said. On a heads-up flop of {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, a battle of the blinds saw Jelka Andelic invest more than half of her remaining stack. Karol Bogusz then reraised and that forced an expensive fold from Andelic.

"Show the bluff!" Busch joked but no cards were revealed.

By claiming the pot without showdown, Bogusz leaped above half a million in chips.

Andelic Chips Up

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ricardo Busch defended the big blind and invested another 20,000 on the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{2-Spades} flop when facing Jelka Andelic from an early position. The {2-Hearts} turn was checked and Busch check-folded the {4-Diamonds} river near instantly when Andelic bet just over 50,000.

In the meanwhile, Serok Kilic has more than doubled up his stack on another table as well.
