Triple Up for Benelli

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Ottavio Benelli
Ottavio Benelli

Ottavio Benelli ended up at risk on the three-way turn of {j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and a side pot emerged between Daniele Mattioli and Bianca Jacobs. The two active players checked the {j-Diamonds} river as Jacobs checked behind.

Benelli tabled the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for jacks full of deuces. A frustrated Benelli flashed {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} to win the side pot and Jacobs mucked her cards while mentioning she had missed the heart and clubs flush draw.

Benelli Loses Some to Sen

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

On a completed board of {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, Ottavio Benelli lost 20,000 chips to Orhan Sen when he briefly flashed his cards. Sen had turned broadway with the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and that prevailed, as the two pair of Benelli were no good.

Palomera Loses a Small Pot to Feng

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Zhao Feng defended the big blind and then checked the {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop. Serguei Palomera then bet 3,500 and Feng check-called. The {5-Clubs} turn and {9-Hearts} river were checked and Feng tabled the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. That won the pot, as Palomera sent his cards into the muck.
