Toth Wins One from Slabyk

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Taras Slabyk opened from the button to 75,000 and Richard Toth defended from the big blind.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and both players checked.

On the {j-Diamonds} turn Toth led for 125,000 and got a call from Slabyk.

The river was the {k-Spades} and Toth bet 275,000 this time. Slabyk thought for a while and called.

Toth revealed {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a king-high flush while his opponent mucked his cards.

Kabrhel Doubles Through Obadia

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel limped in from early position and Yossi Obadia raised the pot to 135,000, which Kabrhel elected to call. "What do you have? Aces?" Kabrhel asked and Obadia replied with a "probably."

They checked the {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop and Kabrhel then jammed the turn for 335,000, which was exactly the size of the pot. Obadia gave it some thought and called.

Martin Kabrhel: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the bottom two pair
Yossi Obadia: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for a pair of aces

The {7-Clubs} river was a blank and Kabrhel doubled to leave Obadia short.

Alfredo Vega Meister

In the battle of the blinds, Erkan Dogan raised from the small blind to 30,000 and Alfredo Vega Meister called from the big blind.

On the {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop, Dogan bet for full pot of 210,000 and Vega Meister, after a long tank, raised all-in for around 500,000. Dogan called and the cards were turned over.

Alfredo Vega Meister: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Erkan Dogan: {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Vega Meister was ahead with his set of treys but the turn was the {7-Spades} giving the flush to Dogan.

However, the river was the {j-Clubs} giving the full house to Vega Meister.

Jose Obadia
Jose Obadia

Yossi Obadia raised the pot and earned the blinds and big blind ante. He then did so again and was called by Udo Hemmert and Martin Kabrhel out of the big blind. The {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop was checked to Obadia, who moved all-in for 165,000. Hemmert and Kabrhel both called and Kabrhel jammed the {k-Diamonds} turn, forcing a fold from Hemmert.

Yossi Obadia: {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}
Martin Kabrhel: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

The {6-Spades} on the river brought no help to Obadia and he had to settle for 16th place.

With 150,000 in the middle and the flop showing {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, Vlado Sevo was all-in for 105,000 out of the small blind and Tobias Peters called instantly.

Vlado Sevo: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Jaroslav Peter
Jaroslav Peter

Erkan Dogan opened to 140,000 from the button and Jaroslav Peter defended from the big blind.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Peter pushed his short stack of around 100,00 to the middle. Dogan called quickly and we went to a showdown.

Jaroslav Peter: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Erkan Dogan: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Spades}

Dogan was ahead with the pair of aces but had to face a lot of outs.

The turn brought another ace on the table {a-Clubs} improving Dogan and the {7-Clubs} on the river finished the job sending Peter to the rail.

Taras Slabyk Eliminated in 13th Place (€2,740)

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Taras Slabyk
Taras Slabyk

Alfredo Vega Meister raised the pot to 105,000 and Taras Slabyk three-bet out of the big blind with the intention to move all-in. Vega Meister obliged and they instantly rolled over their cards.

Taras Slabyk: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Alfredo Vega Meister: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

As per the common rule, it is always common seven for German-speaking poker players and that's what happened on the {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board. Slabyk came up second-best and had to settle for 13th place, which came with a payout of €2,740.
