Di Nicola Folds After Long Tank

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ian Bradley had raised from under the gun and Ermanno Di Nicola then three-bet the pot to 90,000. Bradley potted to 300,000 and that sent Di Nicola into a deep tank. His stack was a mess and he needed three minutes to make it stacks of 20 before carefully counting nearly chip by chip.

Eventually, the hand lasted seven minutes into the new level already as Bradley then called the clock. Di Nicola was given 30 seconds to act and he folded the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} face-up.

The flop read {9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} when all the chips went in for Fredrik Andersson in the big blind for the 170,000 or so he had behind while Manuel Stojanovic re-shoved for around 190,000 from under the gun. Omid Novin made the call from the button with the bigger stack.

Fredrik Andersson: {k-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Manuel Stojanovic: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Omid Novin: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

The rest of the board was completed with the {8-Hearts} on the turn and the {8-Spades} on the river for Novin to improve his flopped set to a full house to score the double knockout for the tournament to get to the final three tables.

Leszek Badurowicz Eliminated in 23rd Place (€3,769)

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

In the last hand before the redraw, another pot escalated when Leszek Badurowicz jammed the {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop for what appeared to be 210,000. [Removed:308] got out of the way but Samuel Stranak came along with the superior stack.

Leszek Badurowicz: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Samuel Stranak: {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}

"Oh, you are ahead," Badurowicz whispered as he was caught stealing. The {6-Spades} turn further improved Stranak to a straight while Badurowicz had outs to a full house. However, the {9-Clubs} on the river was a blank and Badurowicz was eliminated prior to the redraw of the last three tables in 23rd place for a payday of €3,769.

Parkhomenko Goes Runner-Runner for the Double

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Stanislav Parkhomenko
Stanislav Parkhomenko

On a flop of {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, Vadim Zakharyan bet and then called the shove by Stanislav Parkhomenko for 254,000 in total.

Stanislav Parkhomenko: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Vadim Zakharyan: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Parkhomenko had two redraws at his disposal and one of them came on the {2-Diamonds} turn and {3-Diamonds} river runout to secure his double-up.

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jan Ryduchowski
Jan Ryduchowski

Jan Ryduchowski got the remainder of his stack in preflop and was looked up by Richard Toth to create the following showdown.

Jan Ryduchowski: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Richard Toth: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop gave Toth the open-ender while some of his outs were not available due to Ryduchowski holding two of the aces and the spades flush draw. Nothing changed on the {5-Hearts} turn but the {9-Hearts} river improved Toth to the king-high straight, sending Ryduchowski to the rail in 22nd place for €3,769.

Di Nicola Takes From Sabo

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ermanno Di Nicola defended the big blind and check-called a bet worth 45,000 by Alan Sabo on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}. He then checked the {4-Diamonds} on the turn and called a second barrel for 105,000 by Sabo. The {j-Hearts} river was checked behind by Sabo and he mucked when Di Nicola tabled the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for trips jacks.
