Guilbert Wins Another Pot Off Tkatschew

Level 32 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Johan Guilbert raised the button with the {10-Spades}{7-Spades} and Alexander Tkatschew called in the big blind with the {j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. On the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, Tkatschew check-raised from 400,000 to 1,800,000 and Guilbert reluctantly called.

The {k-Hearts} fell on the turn and Tkatschew opted to check. Guilbert once more utilised his min-bet strategy and Tkatschew called to see the {k-Clubs} on the river. Both checked it down and Guilbet further extended his lead.

Gulas Jr Jams Into Guilbert Once More

Level 32 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Josef Gulas Jr opened to 925,000 with the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Johan Guilbert three-bet to 3,675,000 out of the big blind with the {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. The considerate call of Gulas Jr led them to the {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop on which both players checked.

The {7-Clubs} on the turn gave Gulas Jr the second pair while Guilbert had the flush draw. The Frenchman bet 2,500,000 and Gulas Jr made the call, which brought them to the {7-Spades} river. Albeit reluctantly, Guilbert checked and Gulas Jr moved all-in to see his opponent snap-fold.

After the end of the hand, the live-stream coverage headed into a ten-minute break.
