Natalie Besate

Natalie Besate is what one might call a jack of all trades, having worked across several industries including the poker, textile and blockchain industries, among others. She started working for PokerStars back in 2008 as a Customer Service Representative and was part of the Support Team that managed the first ever regulated market. At the end of 2009 she went to her first ever EPT in Barcelona and never looked back.

In 2010 she launched and managed the Estrellas Poker Tour, taking it to new heights, with the culmination of the first combined EPT Barcelona festival that combined the National Tours with the EPT. After a successful stint, she decided to take some time out from the industry to move to Turkey, where she worked within the textile industry as a Marketing Manager. Once Covid-19 was in the books, she joined a Munich based NFT company and moved over to the B2B side of the Events world.

Fast forward to 2024, she joined the Irish Poker Tour as their Head of Marketing, PR and Branding and recently became a partner of Live Poker Updates, a website aimed at Irish and British poker players, bringing fun and easy going updates to this crowd.

She has now joined the PokerNews team as a Freelance Shadow Editor and will be working her first ever WSOP since joining the industry.
