Rachel Kay Miller

Photographer Rachel Kay Miller is a Las Vegas local, originally from the Chicago area. Always having an interest in creative fields, she previously received her Bachelor of Music from the University of North Alabama and her Master of Music from Illinois State University, both in Opera Performance.

Like many others, 2020 threw quite a curveball in her plans, and she picked up a couple of new hobbies during quarantine, namely photography and poker.

After moving to Vegas in the summer of 2020 with her partner, who is no stranger to the felt, she focused much of her time on honing her photography skills with family portraits and headshots. During the fall WSOP series in 2021, she was given the opportunity to fill in for a short period on the PokerNews WSOP Photography Team, and in 2022, she joined the team for the full series.

Since joining the poker media industry, most of her professional engagements outside of the WSOP are through 8131 Media, traveling around the country to photograph various poker events, tournaments, and tours. She also photographs events and concerts in the Las Vegas area.
