Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Stewart Morrison is a long-time poker enthusiast who discovered the game in 2008 after seeing a friend play online. Initially playing once a week in a local pub, he has since travelled the world to play, making poker his full-time job in 2022.

When the opportunity arose to join the PokerNews team as a live reporter, he jumped at the chance. Having made his live reporting debut at the 2025 World Series of Poker, he has since covered major poker events around the world.

Away from the tables, you will find him travelling, keeping up with poker content, or watching sport.
