Stephen Chidwick Eliminated in 4th Place ($198,927)

Stephen Chidwick - 4th Place
Stephen Chidwick - 4th Place

Stephen Chidwick raised to 80,000 from the cutoff only to have Amir Lehavot reraise from the button. The blind quickly got out of the way and Chidwick moved all in for around 620,000 total. Lehavot made the call and it was essentially a flip.

Chidwick: {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Lehavot: {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The crowd was on its feet as the flop came down {9-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{10-Spades}, giving Chidwick two pair and sending his supporters into a jovial celebration. However, they seemed to overlook the fact that Lehavot still had outs. The {8-Hearts} turn kept Chidwick in the lead, but it also gave Lehavot an open-ended straight draw.

What was once celebration quickly turned into shock and awe as the {Q-Spades} peeled off on the river and gave Lehavot the winning Broadway straight. Chidwick's supports were silenced as their man shook hands with the remaining players and made his exit in fourth place.
