Hellmuth Fires Final Bullet

Level 6 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

We arrived at the scene to find Thiago Nishijima put Phil Hellmuth all in before the flop and Hellmuth call for about 90,000 total.

Nishijima: {J-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Hellmuth: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

Nishijima flopped a set on the {10-Spades}{J-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop but Hellmuth was given a glimmer of hope with an open-ended straight draw. That hope was soon crushed, however, as the {10-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and gave Nishijima a full house. The meaningless {8-Hearts} fell on the river and Hellmuth was forced to ship his stack across the felt and dip into his final bullet.
