Martin Crippled

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #66: Jason Duval raised to 80,000. Masayuki Nagata called out of the big blind. Nagata checked the {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, and Lee checked behind. An {a-Clubs} arrived on the turning, making a scary board scarier. Nagata again checked, and Lee bet 90,000. That was enough to pick up the pot.

Hand #67: Dan Martin raised to 80,000 under the gun. Nobody called him.

Hand #68: Lee raised to 90,000. Tommy Townsend reraised to 250,000. Nagata reraised all in for 690,000. In the big blind, Martin shipped it for around 900,000. Lee and Townsend folded.

Nagata: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Martin: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop was a heartbreaker for Martin: {j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. A {6-Hearts} turn gave him a flush draw, but the river was only the {5-Diamonds}, and Martin's dominating position turned into a very short stack.
