Juanda Falls
John Juanda has made the final table of this event in back-to-back years, winning the title in 2011 and scoring a sixth place finish in 2012. This year, however, he will not be coming back for Day 2.
Juanda remained quiet for most of the day and did not seem to gather any momentum since late registering. His final hand occurred when Max Pescatori raised to 2,500 from under the gun. Action folded around to Juanda's big blind and he announced all in for about 15,000. Pescatori called and the two were off to the draw.
Juanda stood pat and Pescatori patted right behind. Juanda shrugged and began to throw away his cards before Pescatori even tabled his. The Italian Pirate showed 
which was more than enough to KO Juanda. Pescatori has eliminated a fierce enemy and now built his stack up to around 49,000.
