Tom Dwan....we hardly knew thee. At least as far as the Main Event is concerned. Dwan sat out all of Day 1 and came into the day with 17,825. Well he was getting involved early and often, and he just busted moments ago.

Action started with a raise to 1,200 by Nicholas Vannewkirk. Dwan was the lone caller, and the two went heads up to a flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Vannewkirk made it 1,500 to go, and Dwan moved all in for 8,000 total. Vannewkirk made the call, and Dwan saw that he would need to catch up.

Dwan: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Vannewkirk: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Dwan was looking for an eight, seven, or running clubs to take the hand. The {k-Spades} on the turn made it just an eight or a seven for Dwan, and the {3-Hearts} came on the river, ending Dwan's WSOP.
