Eric Wasserson Eliminated in 2nd Place ($157,490)

Level 9 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Eric Wasserson - 2nd Place
Eric Wasserson - 2nd Place

Hand #247: Eric Wasserson raised to 60,000, Kory Kilpatrick three-bet to 175,000, and Wasserson moved all in for 850,000. Kilpatrick quickly called.

Kilpatrick: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Wasserson: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Kilpatrick had Wasserson dominated, and remained ahead after the {4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop and the {5-Clubs} turn. Wasserson stood up from his chair, readying his things to exit the Mothership, and Kilpatrick looked up at him.

"Don't you walk away," he said, smiling.

The {9-Hearts} on the river was no help to Wasserson, and he was eliminated in second place. He's off to the cage to collect $157,490, while Kilpatrick will take home $254,891 along with his first WSOP gold bracelet.
