Dion Knocks Jachtmann Out

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Jan-Peter Jachtmann, winner of the $10,000 PLO at the WSOP last year, was just knocked out by Yann Dion. Dion made this year's PCA Main Event final table and finished seventh for $230,000 and he also has an Aussie Million and Irish Open Main Event final table behind his name.

Our German colleagues told us how Jachtmann was in position on a {Q-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop when Dion checked to him. Jachtmann bet by throwing in two red 1,000 chips after which Dion raised it up to 3,800. Jachtmann made the call and the turn brought the {K-Clubs}. Dion threw in 10,000 and with that he put his opponent all in.

Jachtmann made the call with {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and was ahead against the Canadian's {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Jachtmann's hand did not hold up as the river brought the {K-Hearts}. Jachtmann was knocked out and Dion is now sitting comfortably on 54,000 chips.
