FTOPS X Event #6, $500+35 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-max, drew 642 participants, though it fell just a bit short of its $350,000 guaranteed prize pool. Among the players who ran deep but missed the final table were Tristan "Cre8ive" Wade in seventh ($7,700), Brian Hastings in eighth ($7,700), PeachyMer in 12th ($4,200), mossified84 in 18th ($2,555), and Full Tilt "red pros" Aaron Bartley in 24th ($2,065) and Berry Johnston in 26th ($1,680).

The first to go was pu-sdaeh at 15,000/30,000 blinds. From the button, pu-sdaeh made it 82,500 to go and was raised by Brent "Broberts85" Roberts in the small blind to 277,500. Pu-sdaeh called and the flop came 6♠9♥Q♠. Roberts bet enough to set his opponent all in with K♣K♠Q♦7♣ and pu-sdaeh called with J♠J♥10♥8♥. The turn and river came 6♣ and 5♠ as Roberts' kings held on to win, eliminating pu-sdaeh in sixth for $12,250. BubonicPlague was unable to inflict any more damage after a hand against thecranium. From the small blind, BubonicPlague raised to 78,000 and thecranium raised to 234,000 from the big blind. BubonicPlague called and when the flop rolled out 9♠10♥6♣, bet 468,000 and set thecranium all in. After briefly thinking it over thecranium called and showed K♥K♠Q♦3♣, slightly leading against BubonicPlague's Q♣Q♥J♥10♦. The turn and river were blanks, coming out 2♥ and A♦. BubonicPlague was very short-stacked and was out a few hands later in fifth for $19,250.

Out next was d3fault after getting it all in preflop with A♠K♥J♠7♥ against Brent Roberts' A♦A♣Q♣3♥. The board came 2♥2♠8♠6♠2♣ and d3fault took home $26,950 for fourth. Xquadfourskinx, holding K♥K♠10♥9♠, was busted the next hand, again by Brent Roberts, who held A♥6♦5♥3♠. The board came A♣4♣J♠2♦4♦ as Roberts' wheel took it down and eliminated xquadfourskinx in third for $35,455.

The heads-up battle was quick as Brent Roberts claimed the win. After limping from the button and facing a raise to 120,000 by thecranium, Roberts called and the flop came Q♦7♣3♦. Thecranium led out for 120,000 and Roberts bumped it up to 480,000, which was met by an all-in raise to 1,134,295 by thecranium with A♣Q♣9♦4♥. Brent Roberts called and turned up 10♠10♦7♦4♣ for the middle pair and flush draw. However, the 10♥ hit the turn and sealed the deal. The river was the meaningless 2♦ as thecranium finished runner-up for $49,350. Brent "Broberts85" Roberts won Event #6 and $75,250.

FTOPS Event #7, a $100+9 (with rebuys) no-limit tournament, saw 1,893 entrants register. There were 2,658 rebuys and 1,083 add-ons, but the event still fell just short of its $600,000 guarantee. Notable non-final-table finishers included STELLA05 in 12th ($4,800), Shawn "phat_cat1" Luman in 25th ($1,920), Mark "dipthrong" Herm in 31st ($1,620), Matt "NoBadBeatsPlz" Kay in 56th ($1,110), Ben "1Mastermind" Chen in 59th ($1,110) and Luis Velador in 66th ($1,020). Eliminated in ninth place was ICGOODTHINGS. With blinds and antes 25,000/50,000 and 6,000, ICGOODTHINGS moved all in from early position for 414,255 with 2♦2♣ and found action from the aviator1 on the button with A♥Q♥. The 10♥8♥3♦ flop kept things a virtual coin flip. The 2♥ fell on the turn, giving a set to ICGOODTHINGS but the nut flush to the aviator1. The board did not pair with the K♣ river card, sending ICGOODTHINGS home with $7,200. At the 30,000/60,000/7,500 level, Stephen "Stinky Budz" O'Connor ran A♣K♣ into Tim"cane3418" Seidensticker's A♥A♠ and lost virtually all of his stack. He was eliminated a few hands later in eighth for $10,200.

Busting next was the aviator1. At 40,000/80,000/10,000, the aviator1 got it all in for 660,164 with A♦K♦ against Kenny "Hixx" Hicks' A♠8♥. However, the board came with an eight and it was enough to ground aviator1 in seventh for $15,000. A few hands later, FromThaGroundUp was all in with a short stack holding (Jd7h against seidensticker's A♦J♣. The board brought no help to FromThaGroundUp, who finished sixth for $24,600. Kenny Hicks fell on the next hand to Seidensticker as Hicks' K♣9♠ in the small blind ran into Seidensticker's A♣K♦. The board ran out 6♥8♠8♥7♠Q♥ and Hicks was out in fifth for $35,400. Van voot hit the rail next after shoving from the small blind with K♣8♦ for 613,527 and getting called by Tomsk400 in the big blind with Q♣7♠. The board dished out 5♦9♦J♣A♣7♣ as the river crushed van voot, who finished fourth for $47,400. 4XTRADER succumbed in third place at the 50,000/100,000/10,000 level after moving all in for 1,480,786 with K♣5♣ and getting a call from Tomsk400 in the big blind with A♥5♥. The board brought an ace, felting 4XTRADER for $60,600.

It came to an end at 80,000/160,000/20,000. Tim"cane3418" Seidensticker notched the victory. He raised to 320,000 preflop and Tomsk400 called, bringing out a 10♠2♠A♣ flop. Tomsk400 check-called a bet of 480,000, which brought the Q♠ turn. Action checked to Seidensticker who fired 1,280,000, but was then faced with an all-in raise to 3,608,740 by Tomsk400. Tim "cane3418" Seidensticker went into the tank. After a little while he finally called and showed K♠8♥ for flush and straight draws against Tomsk400's 7♠6♠ for the made flush. The J♠ river made a higher flush for Seidensticker, eliminating Tomsk400 as runner-up for $81,600, giving the win and $123,600 to Tim "cane3418" Seidensticker.
