FTOPS Day 10: Dylan Linde Defeats Luke Schwartz in Event #23

FTOPS XXI

The Full Tilt continued Tuesday with three more events from the 35-event schedule — Event #22: $109 Pot-Limit Omaha w/ Rebuys , Event #23: $535 10-Game Mixed Six-Max and Event #24, $216 No-Limit Hold'em Rush Super Turbo.

Several big names have won events during this FTOPS series, and Tuesday was no different. High-stakes regulars Dylan "InvisibleEnigma" Linde and Josh "butsauce33" Weizer both won FTOPS jerseys, while notables like Amit "amak316" Makhija, Michael "michaelsc" Schwartz, Luke "_FullFlush1_" Schwartz, Nathan "wizfromoz" Marcroft and Jimmie "jimmie23" Guinther reached final tables.

"Callyoudownn" remained on top of the Full Tilt with 558 points, slightly ahead of. Bryn "OneUponAStar" Kenney's 543 points. The leaderboard winner will receive a custom Full Tilt Poker avatar and an FTOPS XXII prize package worth approximately $10,000.

Here's a look at the results from Tuesday's FTOPS XXI events:

Event 22: Pot-Limit Omaha w/ Rebuys

Buy-inEntrantsPrize Pool
$100+$9431$150,900

Event #22 barely eclipsed its $150,000 guarantee as 431 players combined for 778 rebuys and 300 add-ons to create a prize pool of $150,900, with the winner receiving $37,725. That prize money went to Josh "buttsauce33" Weizer, who bested a tough final table to collect his first gold jersey.

Former FTOPS winners Amit "amak316" Makhija and Michael "michaelsc" Schwartz made deep runs but ultimately fell short at the final table. Schwartz, a pot-limit Omaha specialist, won his FTOPS jersey in a PLO event in 2009. But even he was unable to outlast Weizer, who said he had some assistance before Tuesday's event began.

Event 23: 10-Game Mixed Six-Max

Several top pros cashed in Event #23, including Ben "benba" Lamb, Scott Clements, Joao Mathias, Chance "Chances Cards" Kornuth, David "Gunslinger3" Bach, Calvin "Cal42688" Anderson, and Richard "Chufty" Ashby. But Dylan "InvisibleEnigma" Linde weaved his way through the strong field to win his first FTOPS jersey and $43,316.

Linde defeated high-stakes pro Luke "_FullFlush1_" Schwartz heads-up for the title. Linde began the match with a sizable lead, and after grinding Schwartz down to around 16 big blinds, he used a timely suckout to secure the title. With the blinds at 10,000/20,000, Linde raised his button to 40,000, Schwartz three-bet to 120,000, Linde four-bet to 360,000, and Schwartz called all-in:

Linde: QQA9
Schwartz: AA53

Schwartz was out in front with his aces, but the QKJ flop gave Linde the lead with middle set. The J on the turn improved Linde's hand to a full house, and the 4 on the river put an end to the tournament.

Event #24 lasted just 92 minutes as each of the 811 players began with 300 chips and tried to survive the three-minute blind structure. Poker pro Jimmie "jimmie23" Guinther headlined the final table but was eliminated in fourth place. After his exit, the final three players agreed to a chop, with each locking up at least $25,000. "BombOfLuck" went on to win the event and received the lion's share of the prize money.
