WSOP.com is bringing back double Action Player Points (APPs) in New Jersey and Nevada during the month of February. Each day, players will have an opportunity to earn double APPs for the selected Game of the Day.

Each day, a designated specific type of game and stakes will be promoted. Players who participate in that game will receive double the normal APPs.

Don’t be concerned playing on a short-handed table. If a nine-handed table only has four players, they will still earn the double APPs. The qualification requirements are related to the number of seats at the table, not the number of players playing at the table.

APPs are used to determine a player’s tier level. The higher your tier level, the better your multiplier for converting your APPs into WSOP points. WSOP points can be instantly redeemed for cash, and players receive $0.01 for every WSOP point. Status tiers also give you access to exclusive tournaments.

This month-long promotion will not only apply to cash games but sit-and-go tournaments as well. In ring games, APPs are awarded to the table at the rate of two APPs for each $1 in rake collected. A player receives APPs based on his or her contributed portion of the rake for each hand played. In tournaments, you receive two APPs for each $1 in fee paid.
