Pamela Maldonado

Pamela Maldonado was raised playing Mexican Sweat, Five-Card Draw, and Seven-Card Stud. An interest in poker along with a newfound passion in writing led to a search for a career within the industry.

After moving to Las Vegas from Texas, Pamela landed an internship with PokerNews, which turned into a contract job working as part of the editorial team during the 2013 World Series of Poker. After a successful summer, her spot with PokerNews evolved into a full-time position as a Jr. Editor and Social Media Coordinator.
