The Sunday Briefing: Another Sunday Brawl Title for Jonathan Karamalikis

Australian poker pro Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis added another major title to his esteemed online résumé on Sunday. Only four months after he won the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl for the first time, he won it again Sunday for $25,372 after defeating a field of 597 players. According to PocketFives.com, Karamalikis is one of only 21 players with more than $5 million in career online tournament cashes, with nearly $2 million of that coming on Full Tilt.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Vladimir "vovtroy" Troyanovskiy made a pair of final tables on PokerStars to pocket more than $65,000 in cashes. Troyanovskiy finished runner-up in Sunday Supersonic for $38,310 after placing fourth in the Sunday 500 for $27,484 earlier in the day. Others hitting big scores at PokerStars on Sunday were Michael "wywrotX" Wywrot, Jeremy "00psiedaisy" Fitzpatrick, Pavel "3P3NIPA" Plesuv, and Ben "1Don'tStop1" Heath, who chopped the Sunday Million for $167,836.

Over at partypoker, the $500K Guaranteed had a $108,000 overlay as only 2,106 players turned up to play the major event. "Martind24" was the biggest benefactor, turning his $200 entry fee into $100,000 after defeating "Mr Lagenda" heads-up for the title.
