WSOP Main Event Dream Comes True for Felix Schneiders
Like many of us, the German poker pro started out playing lower limits in hopes of one day playing on poker biggest stage in Las Vegas. In the blog titled Just Another Kid with a Dream, Schneiders describes his poker journey since he first stepped foot on the virtual felts in 2006.
The blog also describes how one lucky fan will get the chance to sweat Schneiders during this prestigious tournament with a free one percent of his action. In other words, if he goes onto winning the coveted gold bracelet, this could mean one percent of $10 million or $100,000 for free.

Over $500,000 Raised For Nepal Earthquake Relief
You never know when a natural disaster may strike. In late April, over 8,600 people perished in a 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Nepal with many others left in dire conditions without food, clean water, and adequate shelter.
Shortly after this devastating disaster took place, Full Tilt and PokerStars teamed up with international humanitarian organization CARE to raise funds to provide relief for those in need.
The Full Tilt blog titled Over $500,000 Raised for CARE Nepal Earthquake Relief talked about how poker players can really come together to help out a worthy cause. Poker players and staff at Full Tilt and PokerStars donated $255,000 to the relief fund. With the poker sites matching dollar for dollar any donations, $510,000 in total was donated to help CARE with its efforts.
