PokerStars Creates Online High Rollers Series with $11.4M Guaranteed

PokerStars

PokerStars is the place to be for high-stakes tournament action later this month. From Nov. 26-Dec. 4, the world’s largest online poker site will be running the inaugural High Rollers series.

Featuring a total of 22 events, the PokerStars High Rollers series has $11.4 million guaranteed, with $2 million of this princely sum guaranteed for the $2,100 High Rollers Main Event on Dec. 3. Most of the events will be no-limit hold’em, but a couple of Omaha and 5-Card PLO tournaments are included.

The series kicks off with a $2,100 buy-in tournament with a $1 million guarantee on Nov. 26, the same day that a $200,000 guaranteed 5-Card PLO event shuffles up and deals; you’ll also need $2,100 to buy into this tournament.

Two of the High Rollers events command a $10,300 buy-in and are sure to attract some of the best online poker tournament specialists in the business. Whether you’re playing in these events or not, they are almost guaranteed to be an exciting spectacle to watch from the rail.
