World Series of Poker Circuit Debuts in Russia from May 13
partypoker LIVE recently signed a four-year deal to become the primary partner for live poker tournaments at the Casino Sochi, Russia and it will kick this partnership off in style by helping to run the first-ever World Series of Poker Circuit event in Russia.
The festival runs from May 13-27 at the fabulous Casino Sochi and there will be seven “ring events” that award their champion a coveted WSOP Circuit ring during these dates. A huge ₽243 million is guaranteed to be won during the festival, which equates to approximately $4 million.
It is the Main Event that features the biggest guarantee, as you would expect. The ₽66,000 ($1,100) buy-in tournament sees ₽120 million ($2 million) guaranteed, a prize pool that is sure to attract elite poker players from Russia, Europe and around the world.
Another ring event with a big guarantee is the ₽16,500 ($275) Colossus event which has a cool ₽60 million ($1 million) up for grabs. Other ring-awarding events include the Monster Stack, Super High Roller, High Roller, Closer and Pot Limit Omaha.

The Main Event has a total of eight Day 1s to choose from, including two that are to be played online at partypoker. These online Day 1s run on May 1 and May 20 with the live Day 1s commencing on May 22.
partypoker is also hosting an online Day 1 and an online Day 2 for the Colossus.
Satellites to the WSOP-C Russia Main Event are already available online at partypoker, with feeder tournaments starting at only $0.50. These feed into $22 buy-in Semi Finals, which in turn award seats to the $215 WSOP-C Russia Finals that run on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and guarantee between 15 and 30 x $1,175 seats.
