US Online Sunday Briefing: Goodman Ships the $100,000 GTD Sunday for the Second Time This Summer

PokerStars NJ's Summer Series wrapped up its 12-event schedule with a trio of tournaments including the $400 Summer Series Main Event boasting a $80,000 guarantee, That event ended in a heads-up deal between "irunthis15" (first - $17,318) and "thewholefunk" (second - $15,518).

Nevada's top-ranked player according to PocketFives, David "bewater" Goodman, stole both their thunder by shipping the biggest event of the week: the WSOP.com $100,000 GTD Sunday for $33,306.

Goodman shipped this event two weeks ago as well, for $37,409, and now has almost $700,000 in online cashes at WSOP.com alone.

The $15,000 Kick-off was the first major event to get underway at WSOP.com in Nevada and New Jersey on Sunday. The tournament attracted 128 entrants, 134 rebuys, and 73 add-ons to generate a $15,243 prize pool with a total of 25 players cashing for a minimum of $183.

After almost six hours of play, "BrockLesnar" shipped the event for a healthy return of $4,192.

New Jersey's Stephanie "stephhub31" Hubbard managed a podium third-place finish worth $1,387, while Nevada's Wesley "NANO.ORG" LeMahieu snagged seventh place for $594.

The WSOP.com $100,000 NLH Sunday was once again the biggest event of the week at American regulated online poker networks. The tournament attracted 296 entrants and 131 rebuys to create a $128,100 prize pool. A total of 40 players secured at least a min-cash worth $705.

After more than 9 1/2 hours of play, Nevada's David "bewater" Goodman, who won this tournament last month, shipped it again on Sunday for $33,306.

Just missing out on the top prize was Tanner "Bamatide88" Bibat, who three weeks ago shipped the WSOP.com $300,000 GTD Player Appreciation Tournament for $97,560. His runner-up performance added $19,215 in winnings to his impressive summer haul.

Finishing in the middle of the pack at the final table were Jason "LuckDuck" Lawhun in sixth place for $6,021 and Joshua "BruceLeroy" Baer one spot behind in seventh place for $4,612.

After more than 5 1/2 hours of play, "rickrosstheb" outlasted a field of 73 entrants and 29 rebuys to win the event for an impressive haul of $28,101.

Bobby "bcmclawh" McLawhorn, who took second in the $25,000 Sunday's 6 Max last week, continues to be a force to be reckoned with. He managed yet another runner-up performance, this time worth $16,473.

Meanwhile, Wesley "NANO.ORG" LeMahieu earned his second mention in this week's report with a third-place finish worth $11,628 and Anthony "Flawlessbink" Maio finished one spot behind in fourth place for $9,690.

A handful of players outside of the final table also cashed this event for at least $2,713.
