888poker Hosting the $1,000,000 God Of The Arena ME on Oct. 14
888poker will be introducing progressive jackpot tournaments into its poker client on Oct. 11.
Progressive jackpot tournaments are similar to knockout tournaments, albeit with a twist. Similar to normal knockout tournaments, the prize pool in these tournaments will be divided between a normal prize pool with the remainder allocated to bounties on all of the players.
The main difference between a knockout tournament and a progressive jackpot tournament is that every time a player eliminates an opponent, they will only receive a portion of the bounty into their real money account. The other portion will increase their own bounty making them more attractive to opponents to eliminate.

Players will have plenty of chances to build a stack thanks to starting the action with 10,000 in chips. Players can rebuy if they lose all their chips during the 280-minute late registration period. To further enhance the structure, blind levels increase every 15 minutes.
