Global Poker Ups Crazy Pineapple and Pot-Limit Omaha Offerings

Global Poker

If you like to dabble in poker varieties besides Texas hold'em, it may be a good time to check out Global Poker. The social gaming site that operates on a patented Sweeps Cash model in the U.S. and Canada has added to their Crazy Pineapple and PLO offerings.

Crazy Pineapple

First, Global Poker experimented with offering Crazy Pineapple games in their Gold Coins games. Now, players can take their pineapple skills to low-limit Sweeps Cash games to play for real cash prizes. Crazy Pineapple six-max and nine-handed ring games are available for as little as SC$0.02/$0.04 on up to stakes of SC$1/$2. If you prefer tournament play, daily no-limit Crazy Pineapple (NLCP) tournaments kick off at 10:10 p.m. ET for just a SC$5.50 buy-in and SC$250 guaranteed.

For those not familiar with the variant, you get dealt three hole cards in Crazy Pineapple, but you have to discard one of them after the round of betting on the flop. All else is just like hold'em, you just have a better chance of smashing flops! If you haven't tried it out, you can do so for Gold Coins or try for some beginner's luck in the Sweeps cash versions.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Global Poker has also added to their PLO offerings for all the four-card fanatics. They have added seven different varieties of PLO sit 'n' go's, so players can now choose from ten games, ranging from SC$1.10 to SC$22 with six-max and four-max Turbo winner-takes-all options.

The PLO ring games are robust, with stakes from SC$0.02/$0.04 all the way up to SC$10/$20. These come in six-max and full ring, and there are also daily PLO tournaments priced at SC$5.50 and SC$11.
