US Online Sunday Briefing: Alexander "ShadowFiend1" Condon Wins Two Big Events

It was a huge Sunday with the Coast to Coast III in full force at WSOP.com and big tournaments running elsewhere at regulated online poker rooms in the United States.

"Puigmyfriend" won the single biggest prize of the weekend, triumphing in the WSOP.com Coast 2 Coast III #25 - $150,000 NLH - Sunday Special for $38,250. Michael Lavenburg not only finished in second place in that tournament for $21,750 but also had a runner-up performance in the PokerStars NJ Sunday High Roller $10,000 Gtd for $4,794.

Alexander "ShadowFiend1" Condon also had a big Sunday by shipping two $500 buy-in tournaments at WSOP.com for over $27,000 combined.

The WSOP.com Coast 2 Coast III #25 - $150,000 NLH - Sunday Special was the biggest online event of the weekend. The tournament provided value to everyone that cashed with the 302 entrants and 186 re-entries falling $2,400 short of meeting the $150,000 guarantee. A total of 50 players cashed for a minimum of $690.

After more than eight hours of play, "puigmyfriend" won the event for $38,250. Michael "myGAME" Lavenburg notched a silver medal and took home the runner-up prize of $21,750.

The tournament smashed its guarantee after it attracted 284 entrants and 202 rebuys to create a $44,712 prize pool. A total of 40 players secured at least a min-cash worth $246.

After more than 6 1/2 hours of play, Kenneth "kidyahtzee" Jones shipped the tournament for a five-figure haul of $11,625.

David "dehhhhh" Coleman was also on the podium with a third-place finish worth $3,935.

The tournament soared past its $30,000 guarantee with 59 entrants and 33 rebuys generating a massive $42,964 prize pool. A total of nine players cashed for at least $1,590.

After more than five hours of play, Alexander "ShadowFiend1" Condon notched up his second big win in a $500 buy-in event at WSOP.com on Sunday to bank $12,889.

Joining Condon on the podium were Mitch "paltex" Garshofsky taking second place for $7,519 and Mark "avocadotoast" Bauer banking the third-place prize of $5,542. |Sridhar "sri50k" Sangannagar was also at the final table and bowed out in fifth place for $3,480.
