Final Three Make a Deal in Event #9: $230 Deeper Stack
The stacks were getting shallow in the late night hours and just three players from a 230-entry field remained in the 2019 Borgata Fall Poker Open Event #9: $230 Deeper Stack. They began to discuss an adjusted payout agreement and it didn't take long for them to come to terms.
Rick Lee, who held the chip lead at the time of the deal will, took first place and the lion's share of the prize pool earning $8,691. Lee flew under the radar through the early stages of the tournament but caught fire after the dinner break and never looked back.
Both Marcus Lipiner and Rick Rossetti locked up $7,700 for their second and third-place finishes respectively.
They then agreed to run one hand out for the Borgata Fall Poker Open trophy. Rossetti picked up pocket queens and improved to a set on the river to take home his second Borgata Poker trophy.
