Merit Poker 'Gangsters' Smashes Guarantee, Off to Cyprus in March
After the January Western event that has smashed the $2.500.000 guarantee by over $1 Million, on 12-19 of February the team visited magnificent Splendid Conference & SPA, one of the best in Montenegro beachfront resorts, located in the small town of Bečići, for the first international series that expanded the poker horizons and secured a new tournament series destination for Merit Poker.

Local poker community, leading a reasonably quiet and leisurely life without any major events on the schedule, were slightly baffled and pleasantly surprised by the beautiful Merit Poker Gangsters, who stirred up the tranquility by plentiful cash games action and a 22-tournament schedule featuring a €770+€77 NL Welcome 777 with €77.777 guaranteed prize pool, a €1.370 + €130 Main Event, with a €400,000 guaranteed prize pool, a NL High Roller with a €2,500+€250 buy-in and a €120,000 guarantee, a €600+€60 NL Mix-Max event with a €40.000 guarantee, and NL Budva Poker Cup with a€200+€20 buy-in and a €20,000 guarantee.

The Merit Poker team then returned to North Cyprus, to the luxurious five-star Merit Crystal Cove Casino and Resort to get ready for the Merit Poker Top Guns on March, 18 - 30.
The festival will distribute over $2,500,000 in guarantees throughout a series that includes two Main Events - a $2,200 Main Event 1 coming with a $500,000 guarantee and a $3,300 Main Event 2 featuring a huge $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
