Only 11 players managed to make it through to Day 2 and it didn’t take long for those 11 returnees to be whittled down to the seven-handed final table.

Georgi Sandev and Matthias Eibinger were the first players to bust. Barry Hutter and Daniel Dvoress joined them on the rail shortly after, with Dvoress still in the MILLIONS Online Main Event. Dvoress eventually finished third in the Main Event and walked away with $422,421.

David Coleman’s time at the final table was short-lived because he dusted off his stack and finished in seventh-place. German superstar Ole Schemion had to make do with sixth-place, which was the final spot at the final table not to pay six-figures.

Team partypoker’s Jason Koon ran out of steam in fifth place and saw $114,840 wing its way to his partypoker account. Russian grinder Alexander Shalkovski’s impressive run ended in a fourth-place finish worth $152,274 before Joakim Andersson bowed out in third-place with $212,835 in prize money in tow.

Lefrancois and Ami Barer locked horns heads-up in what was essentially a $197,621 heads-up sit & go such was the difference in payouts. No deal was struck between these two Goliaths, which meant Barer walked away with the $327,468 runner-up prize when he lost the one-on-one battle with Lefrancois. The champion scooped the $525,089 top prize and yet another major online poker tournament’s title.

Lehner’s victory was made sweeter by the fact he competed with some legitimate superstars at the final table. Andrii Novak, Juan Pardo Dominguez and Joao Vieira all crashed out in succession, before Oleg Vasylchenko and Lithuanian star Audrius Stakelis busted out.

The latter’s exit left Lehner heads-up against Ludvig Lindstrom who had sent eight opponents to the rail on his way to reaching heads-up. He couldn’t managed a ninth, however, and had to make do with a combined prize of $31,798 for his second-place finish.
