"Ebaaa11" and Ronan "Sw33ney" Sweeney head into the weekend full of confidence and with padded bankrolls after they both received six figure prizes for their PokerStars 2022 World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) victories. Both Ebaaa11 and Sweeney came out on top of $5,200 buy-in freezeouts, leaving a trail of global superstars in their wake.

Event #45-H of the 2022 WCOOP was a $5,200 No-Limit Hold'em freezeout that saw 76 of online poker's best players hit the PokerStars virtual felt in an attempt to secure the lion's share of the $380,000 prize pool. The compact field meant only the players at the nine-handed final table received their cut, so spare a thought for Team PokerStars' Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg who busted in tenth place and popped the bubble. At least Spragg took his bubble finish in good spirits.

With Spragg out of the way, the surviving nine players locked in at least $11,847 for their efforts. This is the sum Alexandros "Pwndidi" Theologis captured when he crashed out in ninth.

Oliver "sk2ll_m0dR" Weis was the next to fall, his eighth-place finish coming with a $13,563 payout, before Daniil "NVoskob1986" Kiselev saw his tournament end abruptly in seventh place, which was good for $18,108.

Estonia's "DingeBrinker" and online veteran Jon "apestyles" Van Fleet dusted off their stacks and saw $24,177 and $32,279, respectively, land in their PokerStars account balances.

Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth reached yet another major final table

The dangerous Andras "probirs" Nemeth's latest deep run ended in a fourth-place finish and a $43,096 score, before Renan "Internett93o" Bruschi fell by the wayside in third for $57,539, sending this high-stakes event into the heads-up stage.

"Ebaaa11" and Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph battled against each other for the top prize and the glory of becoming a WCOOP champion. Rudolph rarely loses when he finds himself heads-up, but this was one of those rare occasions. Rudolph fell at the final hurdle and received $76,821, leaving Ebaaa11 to got their hands on a WCOOP title and $102,565 in prize money.
